Merging the cell by row wise with out losing of the data

Hi Team,

I am new to POI, i have small requirement i.e. I need to merge the data by
row wise with out losing of data of any row.

I am using below code for merging.

sheet.addMergedRegion(new
CellRangeAddress(firstrow,lastrow,firstcolumn,lastcolumn));

 it is merging successfully but, content was overridden by first row data.

Can any one help me on this.

That works as designed.  If you want to merge the content of the cells then you need to concatenate first.
