I am well aware that this bug (or may be not) has been closed since 2003
because of irreproducibility and according to mru it was imported from
Microsoft word. I will just like to add this few comments (although they're
extreme cases).

At font size set to 999.9, I type in my name and it is too big for the page. I
zoomed to 20%, which was the lowest possible it was a lot easier to see the
text. A letter took a page and was still not showing completely; this was
expected. I noticed that some of the text overlapped the margin, specifically
the letter “m.” other letters were cutoff and not completely displayed…even “m”
was not completely displayed, but it still overlap the margin.
increase/reduce the margin. Setting the margin to 51” didn’t prevent the text
(specifically “m”) from overlapping the margin. When I set the margin to 99”
more letters overlapped the margin. From this I can derive that it’s not just
the letter “m” that overlaps the margin but also any text that is wider than
the set space. It is also important to note that the texts don’t overlap the
horizontal margin (the excesses are cut off). The overlapping only occurs on
the vertical/right margin.
