getting updated release

Hello,

I have a situation that I have a project that depend on a released project that is updated on the same release number and deployed on an internal  central repository
For example project B-1.0.0-snapshot depends on  A-1.0.0  which is updated and deployed with the same version A-1.0.0

I know that is not the default maven behavior but I have a plugin that enforce me to do it

I need to get the updated release  which have the same release version and which exist in my local repository

Is there a way to get it without removing it from my local repository

Or is there a plugin that can redonload this exact plugin or remove it from my local repository

I tried dependency:purge-local-repository<http://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-dependency-plugin/purge-local-repository-mojo.html> but it remove all the dependencies which take too much time to re download it
& I can’t tell it to download this plugin only

I appreciate your help strongly
