[jira] [Updated] (HADOOP-12666) Support Microsoft Azure Data Lake - as a file system in Hadoop

Chris Nauroth updated HADOOP-12666:
-----------------------------------
    Hadoop Flags: Reviewed

At this point, I am +1 for patch 016. I completed a successful full test run integrated against the Azure Data Lake service using the contract tests from HADOOP-12875. The remaining Checkstyle warning is not worthwhile to address.

[~vishwajeet.dusane], thank you for responding to the feedback here and promptly revising the patch when requested. Thank you also to all of the code reviewers who participated.

I plan to commit this to trunk and branch-2 later this week.

> h2. Description
> This JIRA describes a new file system implementation for accessing Microsoft Azure Data Lake Store (ADL) from within Hadoop. This would enable existing Hadoop applications such has MR, HIVE, Hbase etc.., to use ADL store as input or output.
>
> ADL is ultra-high capacity, Optimized for massive throughput with rich management and security features. More details available at https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/services/data-lake-store/
