[jira] [Created] (PROTON-1715) Extend C++ binding to allow
arbitrary C++ context objects to be attached
Andrew Stitcher created PROTON-1715:
---------------------------------------
Summary: Extend C++ binding to allow arbitrary C++ context objects to be attached
Key: PROTON-1715
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PROTON-1715
Project: Qpid Proton
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: cpp-binding
Reporter: Andrew Stitcher
Assignee: Cliff Jansen
It would often be useful to allow applications to attach their own state to the C++ binding model objects that are part of the events sent to handlers.
This would give applications a more natural way to extendf eg. connections/session etc. without having to use awkward or inefficient workarounds.
