[VOTE] PIP-471: Authorization Operation Metrics
Hi Pulsar community,
I'd like to start a vote for PIP-471: Authorization Operation Metrics.
Proposal PR: https://github.com/apache/pulsar/pull/25513
Discussion thread:
https://lists.apache.org/thread/ntq7h6m0hydk0n14ckysskfptx8v07r5
This PIP proposes adding low-cardinality broker authorization operation
metrics. The metric records authorization outcomes as allowed, denied, or
error, with bounded dimensions for resource type, operation, and result. It
will be exposed through both the Prometheus-compatible broker metrics
endpoint and OpenTelemetry.
Please vote:
[ ] +1 Approve
[ ] 0 No opinion
[ ] -1 Disapprove, with reason
The vote will stay open for at least 72 hours.
Thanks,
Qiang Zhao
