[Bug 61650] New: mod_proxy_hcheck doc provides examples for non
balancer members
https://bz.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=61650
Bug ID: 61650
Summary: mod_proxy_hcheck doc provides examples for non
balancer members
Product: Apache httpd-2
Version: 2.5-HEAD
Hardware: PC
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: mod_proxy_hcheck
Assignee: bugs@httpd.apache.org
Reporter: aogburn@redhat.com
Target Milestone: ---
https://httpd.apache.org/docs/current/mod/mod_proxy_hcheck.html seems
misleading. It notes it is to be used for balancer members, but then provides
examples for non balancer members, for example
ProxyHCExpr ok234 {%{REQUEST_STATUS} =~ /^[234]/}
ProxyPass "/apps" "http://backend.example.com/" hcexpr=ok234

--- Comment #1 from Christophe JAILLET <ch...@wanadoo.fr> ---
This has been fixed in r1817908 but never backported to the documentation of
the 2.4.x branch.
Now done in r1832295 with some additional cosmetic tweaks.
