[jira] [Created] (AURORA-730) Performance regression in fetching
HostAttributes while scheduling
Bill Farner created AURORA-730:
----------------------------------
Summary: Performance regression in fetching HostAttributes while scheduling
Key: AURORA-730
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AURORA-730
Project: Aurora
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Scheduler
Reporter: Bill Farner
Assignee: Bill Farner
Priority: Critical
Since switching to the database-backed store for host attributes, fetches have become considerably slower. We anticipated this to a degree, but until we are fully switched to database stores and can remove the global read/write lock, throughput noticeably suffers in large clusters.
