project-info report && dependency convergence

I'm not sure to understand what is the dependency convergence report in the
project-info report plugin.

I have a project that is composed with several level of nested modules. Some
of the modules have the type pom and other jars. When I generate my site, a
dependency convergence report is generated for all the modules but it is
always the same report. If I go to a leaf module, I also see dependencies
for other modules that are not in the dependency of my leaf module.
First I believe that the dependency-convergence just concern my modules and
its child. But it looks like if it also contains information about its
parent dependencies.

Is is it what the plugin is supposed to do ?
