Getting XML out of an esql call

Hi
I would like to store XML (XHTML to be more precise) in a database and 
retrieve it and treat it as XML after it leaves the XSP.

Now, I don't mind where this is done, just as long as I can do it. I 
have tried util:include-expr to no avail.

Can you do this nicely? Not that the XML content is mixed content.
