Scope bar?

Can anyone help me out? I've tried a number of support paths, but I'm getting nowhere.

I need to add a 'Scope Bar' to my Solr search mechanism, so I can let the user's search within a given Scope instead of 'All'...if they wish.

It would be like the Drupal.org search (www.drupal.org<http://www.drupal.org>)

You can either search 'All' (set as default) or the user can set a scope to search only in:
'Modules' or 'Themes' or 'Documentation' or 'Forums & Issues' or 'Groups'

RE: Scope bar?

Sort of, but I should have mentioned I'm using a Drupal 7 module. So basically, how it's done there.

My mistake for not mentioning that I'm using Solr with Drupal 7.

You could pretty easily have your scope bar be a selection from a list of canned FilterQueries that you write ahead of time.

Does that make sense?
