Callback in a propery editor
Hello all,
I've got a property editor in y app, that maps a complex object to a set
of text fields. This propery editor is defined in a component, thus has
its own TML and class. Thus, the object corresponding to this property
editor is a @Parameter in my component class, handled directly by T5,
and not through standard getters and setters.
My problem is, when the form is submitted, I need to create or update
this parameter from the field properties. On form submission all the
field setters are called one by one. What I would like to do is to
assemble everything before T5 takes the parameter back (too bad T5
doesnt call a getter, it would be a nice place to put my code) and call
the setter of the edited object. Putting this code in the
OnEvent(success) method is not the right way to do, since the edited
object is supposed to be properly set when this method is called.
Any help will be much appreciated,
José

Hi Marcus,
Thank you for tour answer, but unfortunately, this event, as well as the
others is not called in a property editor. And the class that holds the
form, and in which the events are fired is not aware of this property
editor, or at least I dont know how it could be...

Hi José,
Maybe you could use onValidateForm(), it's called before onSuccess().
