Listener concept
Hi there,
Is there a possibility in JCS to register listeners to cached objects or
cache groups? This feature is mentioned in JSR-107, but I cannot find it
in JCS.
We would like to use JCS as web-tier cache. It should cache the data as
it was read out of the database (e.g. XML). Based on this data the
application generates HTML Fragments which would be assembled and sent
to client. The Fragments are derived objects based on cached data.
Whenever the cached data changes the Fragments must become invalid. This
could easily handled with a listener support.
I there a way to register listeners with JCS?
Kind regards, Sascha Bur

I started implementing listeners a while back, but they are not done, as
far as I know.
In the past, I've cached the HTML fragments in their own region. This
works extremely well.
You create a layer that invalidate the data and the html.
