You should also include your platform, what version of the installer you're using, and since you know there is an issue, open the log file, and paste that into the bug as well.

I'd suggested only removing it after after the fixes contained are applied to the build.xml.

Please remember to update \frameworks\README.txt when this change happens. The readme instructs people to build using build_frameworks.xml

I just unzipped the bin kit.
As stated in the README for the binary kit, I did
cd frameworks
ant
The files templates/swfobject/swobject.js and expressInstall.swf exist.

Here is what I did -
I tried packaging the SDK for FB using the app available at http://people.apache.org/~bigosmallm/installapacheflex/
Once complete, I checked in the <installed location>\templates\swfobject folder. I found that the files swobject.js and expressInstall.swf are missing.

I am still facing this issue in the released version of Apache Flex. Because of this, I am unable to run the Flex apps created in FB using Apache SDK.
