[Mapping workbench] consolidated requirements

Hi all,

I tried to consolidate the requirements for a mapping workbench into a
single document. It is still very incomplete, some items are only described
very roughly, some items are even still missing (e.g. XMI). You can see (and

ng. I didn't want to get to deep into the design, as this document should
only contain a requirements list, but nonetheless there are some design
components already in the document. Please review and add your comments and
thoughts, but please bear in mind that this should be a single, consolidated
document.
