[jira] [Created] (AURORA-1127) Update documentation to explain how to build components on CentOS

Craig W created AURORA-1127:
-------------------------------

Summary: Update documentation to explain how to build components on CentOS
                 Key: AURORA-1127
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AURORA-1127
             Project: Aurora
          Issue Type: Task
          Components: Documentation
         Environment: CentOS
            Reporter: Craig W

The documentation for building and deploying Aurora leaves a lot to be desired. Currently, the best way to get started is to use Vagrant. I wanted to use Aurora in an environment where Vagrant wasn't an option, which led me to figuring out what needed to be done to build Aurora on CentOS 6.5.

Adding a page to the docs describing the steps necessary to build the clients, executors, runner, observer and scheduler could help others while Aurora matures and the build process improves (or releases provide pre-built packages).
