M2 Repo for Apache Sandbox stuff?
Is there a repository for sandbox artifacts publicly available? I'm
trying to play a bit with some sandbox stuff like the
maven-linkcheck-plugin and really want to avoid the manual labour of
checking dependencies out from SVN manually to build and install in my
local repo.

There is no repo for the stuff that is in our sandbox. You need to check
out the code for maven-linkcheck-plugin and build it yourself. Unless
its dependencies are themselves sandbox components, you shouldn't need
to build and install anything else than maven-linkcheck-plugin.
