[jira] [Commented] (SAMZA-177) Move hello-samza to Apache git

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SAMZA-177?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13933658#comment-13933658 ]

Jakob Homan commented on SAMZA-177:
-----------------------------------

This has been completed. LI Legal helped us avoid going the IP Clearance process, so there was a quick import (thanks to [~jfarrell]!). The mirror to github is also complete: https://github.com/apache/incubator-samza-hello-samza All Samza committers should have access.

I'll open a final pull request against the LI repo to delete the content and point to the new Apache mirror.

> Right now the intro module to Samza is still hosted on github even though we're working on it through ASF JIRA. It'd be better to move it under the ASF git so that (a) all committers get access to it automatically and (b) it's a more official part of the project. We can still have it mirrored to github (as the main repo is done), so that most users will interact with it through that site.
> Lots of ASF projects have multiple git repos (http://git.apache.org/) that they publish to. I'll work with infra to get this moved over.
