Could you reformat your sources to eliminate whitespace differences and regenerate the patch? I can't figure out what was changed from your patch.

thanks

Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: MPIDEA-12
Summary: exclude build output directory in module
       Type: Improvement

     Status: Open
   Priority: Minor

 Original Estimate: Unknown
 Time Spent: Unknown
  Remaining: Unknown

    Project: maven-idea-plugin

   Assignee: Brett Porter
   Reporter: Matthew McGowan

    Created: Thu, 30 Sep 2004 9:52 AM
    Updated: Wed, 6 Oct 2004 3:22 PM

Description:
The build directory is not excluded from the module, which can cause difficulties:
- in large projects, IDEA spends time indexing and re-indexing the output files after running maven has been run externally.
- searching for classes and resources produces duplicates (the version in the source dir and the version in target dir.)

A solution is to add a property 'maven.idea.target.exclude' that when set to true excludes the target directory from the module, using an <excludeDir/> directive in the module file.

The attached patch implements this.
