Seems [~liancheng]'s fix has been released with Parquet [RC5|https://github.com/apache/incubator-parquet-mr/blob/parquet-1.6.0rc5/parquet-hadoop/src/main/java/parquet/filter2/statisticslevel/StatisticsFilter.java#L244].
