[jira] [Created] (KARAF-1262) Reintroduce package:* modules
Reintroduce package:* modules
-----------------------------
Key: KARAF-1262
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KARAF-1262
Project: Karaf
Issue Type: Bug
Components: karaf-shell
Reporter: Jean-Baptiste Onofré
Assignee: Jean-Baptiste Onofré
Fix For: 3.0.0
Even if we have bundle:capabilities and bundle:requirements, the semantic and usage are not the same.
After discussing with Christian, he was right:
- bundle:capabilities provides capabilities per bundles (capabilities includes the wiring, the packages exported/imported, the services, etc)
- package:list-export should provide packages exported but ordered per package
It's exactly the same between bundle:list-service and service:list.
I will reintroduce the package module as I think it's more convenient for the end-users.
