This issue doesn't seem to have a conclusion yet, but I have a hypothesis: if the current remote file download fails, the completeFetch gets stuck indefinitely.
When I was fixing https://github.com/apache/fluss/pull/1752 and attempted to throw an exception directly, I discovered that RemoteLogDownloadFuture (org.apache.fluss.client.table.scanner.log.RemoteLogDownloadFuture) currently only implements onComplete. This means that if the download fails, the exception is never propagated, causing the process to hang.
Only when restarted the job, the offset is no longer existed.
