[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-7185) Expert editor (plugin) for confluence wiki

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-7185?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13895227#comment-13895227 ]

Cassandra Targett commented on INFRA-7185:
------------------------------------------

It looks like the Bob Swift plugin for wiki editing wasn't installed? Any chance of getting that installed sometime soon?

I understand how the source editor could be a risk, but as a user of Confluence in another context, it definitely comes in handy when the WYSIWYG editor refuses to cooperate. Atlassian has solved many of the bugs, but not all of them.

> Confluence don't allow anymore to edit the underlying source directly. But this is important to insert, update automatic generated tables with many, many links for example.
> This is serious productivity reduction and waste of time. The wisiwig editor is very painful if you know what to do.
> Request for installation of an adequate wiki markup editor plugin like https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/org.swift.confluence.wiki or something similar
