I tried to log with the jms appender to a joram server, but it does not send
anything, writing a debug information that the appender is inactive.
So i debugged the log4j 1.3 alpha8 and found the following problems in the
JMSAppender.java :
-the method : public void activateOptions() does not change the activate
attribute to true.
And test below inside the method was wrong
if (this.topicConnection != null && this.topicSession != null &&
this.topicPublisher == null)
test for topicPublisher must be !=. By consequence the attribute inOrder was in
a wrong state when appender try to append an event.
after these modifications everything works fine.
