How is the Specification JIRA component used?

Hi,
What is the Specification Component under Tuscany JIRA system used for? I am
assuming that this should hold any issues that requires a change in OASIS
spec. Is this correct?

Should the creator take the issue to the spec group or is this being
monitored by the spec team and will be taken care of automatically?

Mike Edwards is the chair for assembly and he has been helping resolve the
spec issues found in Tuscany.

Mike are you monitoring this JIRA category? Would it be useful to keep it to
track the JIRAs related to the spec?

Thanks,
Haleh

I think you're right that the intention is that spec issues are associated
with this category. We're not very good at doing this though.

The process seems to be that the person who finds the problem either takes
it directly to the approprioate OASIS TC or gets one of the spec writers to
do it. I know some of the spec writers watch the list but I don't believe
they specifically monitor this JIRA category.
