Are there any issues (licence wise) in getting some of the optional jars
files on to those apache machines. E.g. the osgi or the J2ME jars?

Dan.

Since we would only be redistributing the build product, it shouldn't
be any more illegal than one of us making available a snapshot or
release that was compiled against them. :-)

Since license restrictions usually regard redistribution of a
software product and not its use, and I would say that the committer
who uploads those files to the machine would be the one bound by the
license for the jars, then that person should be especially diligent
that there is no public access to those files which could be
considered redistribution of them. I suppose that person should also
scan the licenses of anything they upload to determine whether there
are any restrictions on use as well, if they are not sure.
