Release building instructions
Hello everybody!
I've been writing up the release process, I've put it here:

The process isn't exactly as streamlined as it could be. There are some
features in mvn that we aren't using, but I think I can
experiment with them with a local subversion repository, etc.
I've unilaterally made some decisions, such as the naming scheme, but we
can discuss that here.

packages. I get to step 2 ok but step 3 says
"Error reading assemblies: No assembly descriptors found."
Also the check summing - what directory should I be in?
