Cocoon ignoring xsl:output ident?

Having a problem.

My stylesheet starts with:

<xsl:stylesheet
	version="1.0"
	xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
	xmlns:xalan="http://xml.apache.org/xslt"
 >
	<xsl:output
		indent="yes"
		xalan:indent-amount="4"
	/>

But Cocoon seems to be ignoring the <xsl:output indent="yes" ...>. All of the output is coming out on the same line.

Ideas? Suggestions? Do I need to somehow tell cocoon to turn on Xalan indent processing some other way?

TIA!

DR

Looks like there are limitations. I can't specify the Xalan extension "xalan:indent-amount", for example.

Oh well. Thanks for the info.

In the default-sitemap there are a few examples:

<map:serializers default="html">
    <map:serializer name="html"   mime-type="text/html"
src="org.apache.cocoon.serialization.HTMLSerializer">
        <doctype-public>-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN</doctype-public>

<doctype-system>http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd</doctype-system>
        <encoding>iso-8859-1</encoding>
    </map:serializer>
</map:serializers>

Like encoding is specified here, everything else of <xsl:output> has to be
specified too. I don't know whether there are any limitations in comparison
with <xsl:output>.

Joerg
