Please ask usage questions on log4j-user@logging.apache.org and provide much more detail, such as 
version of log4j that you are using, what you are doing (or not doing) that is attempting to load 
SocketServer (which appears to receive messages transmitted by SocketAppender), whether or not there is 
a generic.lcf file at that location, etc.  If you don't know how to answer those questions (like you didn't 
write the app that you are deploying), then you need to raise the issue with the author of the app.

ASF Bug reports should only be used when you have some suspicion that something is wrong.  Mailing 
lists and other resources should be used when you need to gain understanding.
