Minutes of 2025/04/10 CHI Eastern time zone workgroup meeting

Hi ,
We held the 2025/04/10 CHI Eastern time zone workgroup meeting and  talked about :

        *   166 open non draft non stale PRs. With 236 open stale PRs! The close rate due to stales is now much more aggressive now we have adopted the Apache settings.
        *   We talked about the need for more committers to review PRs. We wanted to evidence base this Thomas Cooper<https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/~tomncooper> to bring together some stats around this and get the story from the Kafka community on how they solved this issue.
        *   David Radley<https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/~davidrad> raised Flip-518<https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/x/_wuWF> for the community review process agreed in this meeting. 1 response from the community. Robert Metzger<https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/~rmetzger>  to review the Flip and feedback.
