Flatten the projects

FYI, am in the spring clean mode, though it's already summer. Here's
the sorted list: (did i miss any?)

- Apache Addressing
- Apache Axis (Java)
- Apache Axis (C++)
- Apache EWS
- Apache JaxMe
- Apache jUDDI
- Apache Kandula
- Apache Mirae
- Apache Muse
- Apache Pubscribe
- Apache Sandesha
- Apache Scout
- Apache SOAP
- Apache Woden
- Apache WSIF
- Apache WSRF
- Apache WSS4J
- Apache XMLRPC

Action Items:
#1: Kill dead project - WSIL
#2: Clean up WSRP4J as it has moved to portals
#3: Create mailing lists for projects that don't have it.
#4: Clean up the main web site
#5: Move everyone to a single ACL as we talked about earlier.

OK everyone?

thanks,
dims

+1, I too like to see the addressing for Axis2 live inside Axis2, at
least for time been.

+1 in general. BTW shouldn't all the projects be referred to as "Apache
Web Services <FOO>"?? I understand that "Apache <FOO>" is when <FOO> is
a TLP.

Also, I see addressing in Axis2 being a module which is rather burnt in
and probably Axis2 specific. Do you see that code being moved to the
Apache WS Addressing sub-project? I'd be ok either way but want to keep
it in Axis2 land right now because of the rapid change rate and move it
out later if that's the right thing to do.

Thanks,

Sanjiva.

dims,

It's not a big problem thought ...
The new site indicates a contact info as 'webmaster@foo.com' to
send feedback about the website - at the footer.
Is 'pmc@ws.apache.org' better ?

Folks,

Please review the new site from viewcvs (takes time for changes to
propagate to the actual server):
http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/ws-site/targets/index.html

DONE:
- Fixed the CVS and SVN locations
- Added mailing lists where needed
- Updated we site with info on both CVS and SVN locations
- Updated web site with info on all mailing lists
- Cleaned up WSRP4J/WSIL etc.
- Download points directly to the closer.cgi script

TODO:
- Check commit notifications for all projects
- Check MBOX/email archives
- Need to migrate folks off of fx-dev@ mailing list.
etc...etc...

Please let me know if you see any problems.

While you're doing spring cleaning, perhaps you could put a much more
prominent note on the Apache SOAP page, at the top of the page (rather
than at the bottom of the page), perhaps in bold flashing text, that
Axis has superseded the Apache SOAP project.
