After having installed hive, starting the hiveserver2 does not open a network port as documented in [https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/Hive/GettingStarted#GettingStarted-Requirements]

netstat does not show a java process, nor does telnet or beeline connect to 127.0.0.1:10000
