[jira] [Updated] (INFRA-10758) change field configuration for Hive project (or give someone permission to edit them)

Gavin updated INFRA-10758:
--------------------------
Status: Waiting for user (was: Waiting for Infra)

1. Target Version already visible, for Fix Version to be removed we'd need to create a new scheme.

2. Possible but would need to create a new scheme (so we don't make the same change to all other projects.

3. Not possible. Jira puts it where it puts it.

Considering the above, do you still want to go ahead?

> I can view Hive project settings for fields, screens etc. but I cannot edit them. [~ashutoshc] (project PMC chair) told me INFRA ticket is needed to edit those.
> We would like to
> 1) When creating a JIRA, remove "Fix version/s" field and add "Target version/s" field instead.
> 2) In the main issue screen, display Target version/s field in the JIRA screen, even if empty (right now it's only displayed if set).
> 3) If possible, display it near (below?) Fix version/s field.
