Logging - No More Connections

I am currently using Tomcat 6.0 and in the previous versions I have used, I
used to see a message when all the threads are in use and Tomcat was
rejecting connections due to no more available threads. I am not able to see
this message on Tomcat 6.0. I was able to add property in logging.properties
to see when the threads are getting initiated but do not see a message when
Tomcat is rejecting connections. What do I need to do to see this message?

Thanks.

Re: Logging - No More Connections

I am using a standard install of 6.0.18 with JDK 1.6 on AIX. I am sure I am
running out connections as I have set the maxThreads to 10 and acceptCount
to 5. I am using SOAPUI to generate the load and in the SOAPUI GUI I can see
the connections refused message.

Thanks.

Congratulations: your server appears to be properly-sized for the
expected load.

Are you sure you are running out of connections?

How 'bout some other information:

- - Standard Tomcat install, or a pre-packaged one from some Linux distro?
- - Specific Tomcat version (there are either 10 or 20 versions called
"6.0", depending on how you count)
- - Connector configuration
- - Specific logging properties you attempted to use
- - Operating System and JVM in use
- - Information about how you are generating load for your tests (ab?
JMeter? rapid-RELOAD in a web browser?)
