[jira] Commented: (GERONIMO-3061) Upgrade Dojo to 0.4.2

Paul McMahan commented on GERONIMO-3061:
----------------------------------------

I tried out dojo 0.4.2 and like you say their website suggests that this version contains only bug fixes and should not cause any upgrade problems. However, several of the new dojo based debug viewers in the console don't function correctly on this new version of dojo. The "invert tree" button in the classloader viewer, for example, doesn't work. So we may need to skip this version of dojo or look into the problem in the classloader and dependency viewers. The JMX viewer seems to work ok.

> There is a new version of Dojo (0.4.2) available for download.
> There are a number of bug fixes and the update should cause no ripples.
> The actual changes necessary are fairly straight forward:
> 1) download the zip
> 2) copy the zip into the /repository/org/dojotoolkit/dojo/0.4.2 directory with the name dojo-0.4.2.zip (have to create the directory first).
> 3) update the dojo-version variable in the root pom.xml
