> We rely on `hadoop-minikdc` for SASL unit and system tests. This library contains a single `MiniKdc` class that depends on Apache Directory Server for most of the functionality. Even so, there are a couple of bugs (KAFKA-3453,  KAFKA-2866) that would be easy to fix if we had our own `MiniKdc`.
