Help with DAO-Generation

i am using middlegen to generated my ejb's, middlegen used velocity to 
generated the  java source code, now I will like to make a velocity code 
that will genete a DAO or DAOs  on the ejb's how do I do this I am totally 
blans in velocity, any link, tutorial for this problem ?
