[users@httpd] Method not Allowed error

I realise the usual reason for getting this error. HOWEVER, one or 2 of
users get this error intermittently, so I figure it cannot be caused at my
server end.

Running Apache 1.3.19.

What I'm trying to do is run a java servlet. As I stated 99% of the time it
works, it's just now and again. Could it be something to do with the user
configuration - a proxy server for example. I'm in the dark, so I'm just
guessing.

Any help would be most appreciated.
