Help: config problem?
I thought I had Tomcat/Apache working well under Linux using IBM's JDK
1.1.6,
but evidently somethings wrong...
Can anyone tell me why I would have problems accessing
http://myhost/examples/jsp
or http://myhost/examples/servlets from an NT workstation when I can access
http://myhost/examples and http://myhost/examples/images fine from that same
workstation? The URLs (and the examples) run fine when I run a browser on
the
Linux server itself.
Another question while I have your attention... can Tomcat be run using a
JRE
only instead of the JDK? (I'm a newbie, but using the JRE resulted in an
error
saying 'java' couldn't be found).
Thanks a lot, and I must say in general I'm impressed with Tomcat!
Cheers... Ken.
