build problem

I'm getting this build error in v2:

newstore2.classes:
     [mkdir] Created dir:  
/home/zieg/apache_cvs/xml-xmlbeans/v2/build/classes/newstore2
     [javac] Compiling 9 source files to  
/home/zieg/apache_cvs/xml-xmlbeans/v2/build/classes/newstore2
     [javac]  
/home/zieg/apache_cvs/xml-xmlbeans/v2/src/newstore2/org/apache/ 
xmlbeans/impl/newstore2/Cur.java:35: cannot resolve symbol
     [javac] symbol  : class UserDataHandler
     [javac] location: package dom
     [javac] import org.w3c.dom.UserDataHandler;


Is there something going on with dom versions/jdk versions/etc ?

I'm using jdk 1.4.2.
