[jira] [Created] (BIGTOP-1802) Define BigTop reference implementations.

jay vyas created BIGTOP-1802:
--------------------------------

             Summary: Define BigTop reference implementations.
                 Key: BIGTOP-1802
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BIGTOP-1802
             Project: Bigtop
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: general
    Affects Versions: 1.1.0
            Reporter: jay vyas

For the user experience, we will want to abstract the two different bigtop use cases (Traditional hadoop stack vs modern fast data stack) into a higher order definition.

In particular our vagrantfile right now provides a reference implementation about how to spin up a particular stack from zero.

We should take the part of it which defines the components, and basically abstract it out into a "reference-implementations/" directory, so that vagrant can be used to launch and test many different bigtop reference impls.
