GridGain full-state transfer optimization

Hello Igniters,

Does anyone know whether GridGain replication, more specifically its cache full-state transfers use compression to transfer data over the network?

We tried it recently in a 4 senders to 2 receivers scenario and the whole transfer process was rather slow so we are trying to find out why.
On the receiver cluster side there was no page modification throttling, also no long JVM pauses detected.

Regards,
Michal

You’d need to talk to GridGain about that. This mailing list is about Apache Ignite.
