[jira] [Commented] (AIRAVATA-827) Extending Gram RSL parameters to provide Job Name, email options

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AIRAVATA-827?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13635627#comment-13635627 ]

Suresh Marru commented on AIRAVATA-827:
---------------------------------------

These are good and needed extensions, but they are very much application or request specific. I would vouch not to add them to deployment wide configuration files likes airavata-server.properties. The application description already allows to add these RSL parameters right, I thought XBaya already allows to add them, if not can we just change the UI? I am referring to extendedKeyValueType in- https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/airavata/trunk/modules/commons/gfac-schema/src/main/resources/schemas/ApplicationDeploymentDescription.xsd

> RSL have several optional parameters like email, job name or other extended parameters. Email parameters can be set from airavata-server.property and can be overwitten using application environment setting and context variables also.
