[jira] [Commented] (LEGAL-249) Use GitHub issues instead of JIRA

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LEGAL-249?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15283607#comment-15283607 ]

Dennis E. Hamilton commented on LEGAL-249:
------------------------------------------

I must apologize for being thick.

I have read through these comments several times and, while this issue is marked resolved and closed, I have no idea what the resolution is. I have used JIRA configurations where there is an actual Resolution panel to express what "Resolved" constitutes. I see nothing like that here technically or in any comment. When someone says "got it," it would be great, for confirmation of understanding, to have recorded exactly what it is that is "got."

> Is it possible for us to use GitHub issues instead of JIRA for issue tracking and discussion? This was raised on a new project that we're beginning to incubate (Airflow). I asked INFRA, and they suggested that I ask LEGAL as well as the board.
