[VOTE] new project name

Per the results of the nominations poll [1] we are voting on three
candidate names. The truly fair way to conduct such a vote, AFAIK,
would be to use the STV approach, but since the nominations thread
seemed to overwhelmingly favor a single candidate anyway, we'll go
with the very basic approach of "vote only for your favorite
candidate." This vote will be open for 72 hours (and change), thus
will close on January 17 at 18:00 UTC.

The candidates are:
BVal [ ]
bVal [ ]
bval [ ]

Thanks in advance for voting!

Matt

Cool, farewell Apache Bean Validation, and welcome Apache BVal

I am going to update the charter now with the new name and send for review,
preparing for sending it to general@.

[RESULT] new project name

Posted by Matt Benson <gu...@gmail.com>.
Hello all,
  Voting is now closed.

Results:

BVal - mbenson (non-binding), gpetracek (binding), mnour (binding),
rstumm (binding), allee8285 (non-binding)
bval - simonetripodi (binding)
bVal - N/A

So our new project name seems to be "BVal".

Thanks all for voting! Apache Bean Validation is dead; long live Apache BVal!

Hi Niall,
Mark already did the checking on the bval name. I don't have the
link ready to hand, but when he gets back from holiday (or pops in
before) he can probably point us to where he's said this publicly.

Thanks,
Matt

I'm neutral on which variant - has anyone checked that bval is OK to use?
