[jira] Created: (AMQ-2097) missing jar dependency for activemq-xmpp
missing jar dependency for activemq-xmpp
----------------------------------------
Key: AMQ-2097
URL: https://issues.apache.org/activemq/browse/AMQ-2097
Project: ActiveMQ
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 5.2.0
Reporter: freetwix
there is one missing jar dependency which will prevent users of activemq following the documentation (http://activemq.apache.org/xmpp.html) from connecting successfully.
the bigger problem is that the connector itself does not complain about any missing jar but behaves like in a real connection process (debugging with psi leaves you in a state of "wtf").
the missing jar is the wstx-asl-3.0.1.jar (see pom.xml dependencies in the activemq-xmpp).
this should at least be mentioned immediately in the documentation cause the feature itself (xmpp in conjunction with the agent topic) is awesome.

wow,
nice update of the doc (especially collecting all the clients stuff). if i find any time, i will try to investigate why adium does have problems reconnecting to the groupchat.
