[jira] [Commented] (FINERACT-968) Update the Spring Boot, Spring, and Gradle Wrapper versions

Michael Vorburger commented on FINERACT-968:

[~natashan] search JIRA for existing issues with "update" or "bump" etc. in their Summary; you should find e.g. FINERACT-963 and issues linked to it. One advise, if I may? The complexity of these 3rd-party library upgrades varies considerably. Some are trivial - check out the PRs I just raised today which are green. Some require changing some import statements - easy. Some are... much more "interesting". What I would suggest is that, initially, you go for "volume", and don't get "stuck" on the hard upgrades. It's totally OK to "give up", finish off other ones (great for the project!) - and then come back to the harder ones later - or not, and focus on issues that add more value to the project. Hope this helps! PS: You can add me as a Watcher to issues such as this one that you create, that way I get email and can chime in.
