cvs checkout on cvs.apache.org doesn't work ...?

Hi,

When I try to loging on the jakarta's anoncvs, i get this message :

Do you have an idea ?
Could my proxy cause this ?

I hope i didn't bother you with such a futile question, and if I wrote to
the wrong mailing list, please forgive me.

make sure you can ping cvs.apache.org

You are aware that cvs doesn't work through an http proxy?
