[~liuyao] This is a duplicate of IMPALA-7560 (original) and IMPALA-8039 (duplicate).  There's more analysis in those JIRAs about the selectivity computation so it would be good to close this one as a dup and assign IMPALA-7560 to yourself.  What do you think ?
