How to increase text field size.
Hi,
I am developing web application. In that web application I have designed a
login page with two fields(text field and password field).
code:
<input t:type="TextField" t:id="username" t:label="Username:"
t:value="username" t:validate="required" size="30" />
<input t:type="PasswordField" t:id="password" t:label="Password:"
t:value="password" t:validate="required" size="30" />
I am using size parameter to increase the width and height of that two
fields. But it increase only width of the two fields and one more problem
is, size is differ btw Iphone and android mobile devices. In android device
the two fields are overflow.
Please any one say how can I increase the width and height of that two
fields.

The members of this mailing list are always happy to help, but since
Tapestry produces standard HTML/XHTML for these elements, your
question is not really Tapestry-specific. You'll probably find better
support for HTML & CSS questions on HTML & CSS forums.

Use media queries in your CSS to figure out what width and height your
fields should be.

What do you mean with height; more rows? Then you can use a TextArea with
rows and cols attributes.
If you just want visual height of the text TextField then you'll need CSS.
Why can't you use CSS?

Use CSS to change the width.
